Canopies Feedback: The only thing short of bleach which will ruin it is a product by DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover and Protector for Fabrics. It is a spray on application, only costs a few bucks at the Lowes home improvement center (on the cleaning aisle) and won’t damage the awning. I had it really bad on my gazebo awning last year and used that to remove it. You do need a little scrubbing action for the green parts, but not only does it remove it, it also leaves a residue that keeps it from coming back.
Canopies Feedback: Power wash it. You can hire this done or go to a rental place and rent one. Also if you buy bathroom products that kill mold and mildew that will work.
Canopies Feedback: Make a paste with baking soda and water, scrub with plastic bristle cleaning brush, rinse and repeat if needed. You can also use a little dish soap instead of the paste. Also if you have a pressure washer it should work really good and it’s alot faster (less elbow grease required), I think you can rent one at Lowe’s, Home Depot, they are easy to use.
Canopies Feedback: if it is vinyl 10 percent bleach solution will work fine and not damage anything
