How can I make a soundproof bed canopy?

Can you answer Morgaine’s question about Canopies?:
I want to make a soundproof bed canopy for better sleep (loud housemates). I can suspend it from the ceiling or make it out of an old table-like structure.
But what sort of materials should I use for the veil?
I was thinking I could make a quilt out of thick fabrics, what materials should I use? I don’t want it to be a sauna in there lol.

I can’t put anything in the walls or on them.

Canopies Feedback: don’t think there such a thing for a canopy. the best you could probably do is to use really really thick fabric.
You CAN, however, soundproof your walls or at least make it quieter (idk if you can completely soundproof because of thin walls, cracks under doors, etc.).
you might look into that..i don’t know where you buy the materials..but its possible!
