Can you answer Dixon’s question?:
I have a cherry tree that always grew on the north side of a very large Douglas Fir. The Fir was cut down this year, and the cherry tree is elongated and doesn’t have a good canopy.
I’d like to cut it down to about 6 ft., will it grow a new canopy if cut down this low? How far down is OK to go??

Can you answer MissErudite’s question?:
I am looking for a specimen tree to plant by my entry walkway. It can’t get no higher than 10 feet 12 feet max. And I’d like a spread of about 10- 12 foot canopy. Flowering would be a plus!
The tree should be able to thrive in zone 7or 8

How can I make tree canopy for an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ middle school play?

Can you answer sirrelleum’s question?:
We’re creating a park scene for Alice’s reality world. My budget is limited. We have a park bench and wish to create tree canopy (looming trees over a park bench). The idea needs to be mindful of stage lighting that hangs from the ceiling (no shadows on the actors/actresses). Thanks.
